This would be a good snakebytestv. episode :rolleyes:. Oh yeah it is in all of the episodes and never gets old. So lets here em for some good ol' laughs. :P

That one is specifically for ball pythons. I think the OP meant this for all reptiles.

Here's some I know of:

1.) If you kill a snake, it doesn't truly die until sundown.
2.) Coachwhips will chase you down and whip you with their tails.
3.) Snakes can't bite underwater.
4.) Turtles/tortoises are not reptiles; they're amphibians (thanks, Full House!)
5.) Iguanas and geckos are not lizards (what the heck are they then?)
6.) The mud snake will roll itself in a loop, rolls down hills to chase people and sting them with its sharp tail.

lol, i had never heard of those and i loved full house!!! hahahaha... still to this day its the ring tone when my mom calls me as a matter of fact.

Do you know which episode I speak of? Uncle Jesse brings home a tortoise that he almost hit with his motorcycle...and throughout the show, he and other cast members said the phrase, "I love that amphibian"....thus, spawning a countrywide misconception that tortoises and their ilk are amphibians.
