    Twilight
    Anyone else reading/read these books?
I'm almost through the 4th book, contemplating reading the leaked 5th book Meyer posted on her site.

Also extremely excited about the movie coming out in December! Eeeee! I love the girl they cast as Bella, not so sure about the Edward just yet.

I rarely get this excited about fiction, but this series has me completely enthralled.
    So, anyone else?

I have avoided reading them because every middle-school kid that I know walks around carrying a copy. I'm addicted to the Anita Blake vampire novels, so I'm going to try to finish out that series first. (If she'd ever stop writing them!) My boyfriend calls it vampire smut. I told him maybe he should read it and learn a thing or two. OH SNAP! :P

Yeah, that's what I really love about them. She can immerse you in her world with just a sentence.

These are much lighter reading than Rice books, which makes them a quick read. Go ahead and get the first book, betcha get hooked ;)

They are really like the Harry Potter books in that they cross all age boundaries so easily! I haven't heard of the Blake books, I may have to check them out.

The Blake books are kick arse. The first one is probably the best and then they (kind of) go downhill as you go along because it starts to be mostly sex scenes. But the first ten or so will blow your mind away. She just released her newest one and I'm a book behind now. But the new ones take so long to read because I can only sit through so much "sex". I start saying, "ok. I get it. Now where's the vampire stuff?" and have to put the book down from time to time. Everyone that I know of who reads her stuff feels the same way. But definitely don't let it stop you from reading the first few - they're awesome!

I was at the opening party for the 4th book and I love the series!!! I am a Jacob Lover. I am not to crazy about Bella anymore or even edward. I do love the Wolf Pack in LaPush. OMG!!! It's one of my addictions... Anyone have anyother authors that write some really good vampire books.

I still haven't read the last one, but so far the first book has been my favorite. I'm not super crazy about them, but they're good. I am looking forward to the movie, but like you Sarah, I'm not too sure about the guy they cast as Edward. I'm sure it won't do the book justice, but I'll have to see it anyway.

I loved the first three and I'm really excited about the movie. For some reason though, I just can't get into the fourth book. Everyone around me says it gets better, but I read the first few pages, woke up the next morning and haven't opened the book since.
