I think my female is gravid!?

So i bought a handful of breeder snakes off of someone on fauna and he said he had successfully breed a few of the bigger ones.

I got this one female in the group that was really fat. She is a great eater so I figured she was just bigger than average. But she's been getting way bigger than all her other girlfriends and is finally looking a little lumpy.:weirdface

I opened her drawer yesterday and she was wrapped around her bowl like we've all seen in so many pictures on here. Now im starting to think she may have been bred before shipped or is retaining sperm from last year. No matter, im pretty excited if its true.:banana: That means i gotta fire up my incubator :O

This will be my first clutch so im not sure, but all the signs point towards eggs. I'll try to get some pics of her royal fatness tonight.

She may still be developing follicles. Generally they do not eat when they are gravid.

I would suspect she is building, you should be able to palpate her and feel the follicles if she is hugging her water bowl. Once she ovulates she will seek the warmth.

Ahhh, my next step. I watched the Ralph Davis video on palpating. We should have some answers and photos tonight. No worries!
