Reptile Basics 412L IR thermometer
Does anyone here use the Reptile Basics 412L IR thermometer?
Here is the link for it:

Re: Reptile Basics 412L IR thermometer
Got it, use it, love it. The always on MAX feature is nice.
I do wish it had a "min" mode available. There are times when I'm checking temps when I'd like to know if there are any spots in the cold end of the enclosure that get too cold. Since we keep our house somewhat cool, and the t-stat controls the hot end of the enclosure, I've had more issues with that than needing to worry about hot spots.
However, when I combine this tool with an accurite, I feel very confident that I am providing the right temps. The accurite doesn't have the ability to scan the whole enclosure, but it saves max/min readings so you know if the enclosure dips down to low at night, which you might not catch using only the temp gun.
EDIT: I decided to be fair I should mention this is the only temp gun I've used, so I don't know how this model compares to others.

I like mine for all the above mentioned reasons. I dont find the MINIMUM temp reading not being displayed a problem. I just point at where i know the coldest spot should be and read the gun.
