are you ready for a storm?
well hurricane ike not only affected the gulf states, but it wreaked havoc on kentucky as well.

i currently still have no power, going on day 3 and have been told it could be 11 more days.

Lesson learned. in the next month, as soon as they are back in stock, i will be purchasing a generator that can run my entire house....one that will be wired up to my fuse box and will kick on automatically when there is a power outage.

First and foremost, my snakes are way too valuable to me. Second, being self employed, i have learned that even one day w/o access to my computer sets me back about a week.

I could care less if we never have another power outage again, but if so, i will be prepared.

I have familiy in Kentucky as well, and they all had power returned except for my uncle. Who is still without. I find it odd that you 1200 miles away from galvoston and me only 30 miles away have no power, but I do.
