    The New MBK has Arrived!
Finally, after waiting all day for friggin FedEx, the MBK has arrived. :D
We heartily thank Neil Golli for working with us (and FedEx) and sending this beautiful little black snake.

The only picture we have of him right now is sitting in his shipping box:

This is due to the fact that he's really freaked out right now, as he apparently found a way out of his tied bag while in transit and was at the bottom of the box rattling like crazy when we opened it. Since we didn't want to stress him further, we just weighed him in the box and slid him gently out into his new tub. He went straight into his hide, poor dear. :)

His name is (seriously) Darth Barack and he weighs in at 20g. He'll get a week of quiet, then I'm sure my BF will want to handle him regularly. :)

Yikes! The poor thing! How did it get out of its bag?

Glad he is ok and hopefully he'll settle down just fine once he is no longer being rattled around lose in that big box.

:) I believe he got out because the knot was kinda loose. Being a little fella, he must have slipped through the loose knot and out of the bag. At least the top of the bag was tucked down toward the bottom of the box.

And I know that black milks are sweet...but Ari wanted a SOLID black snake. At least he changed his mind about Indigos.

Darth is currently exploring his tub, looking for ways out most likely. :)

Well black milks GET solid black. You gotta raise 'em up first. It's like a challenge and then you get to enjoy the animal that much more once they've got their adult coloring because you know you did a good job. MBK are the lazy way out... :P -lol- Just teasing.
