Quick help! My co-worker is bring over a bp ....
and first I want to know if there is anyway that it can get my bp sick? We will keep them in separate rooms and I am keeping mine in his tank. I will just make hers stay outside while I look at it if there is anyway that it could cause harm to mine. We have had ours 2 years in perfect health. TIA!

According to everything she has told me the prior owner had horrible husbandry and I am trying help her (and the snake out) a little. She says it is in a 5/10 gal, heating rock?/ or maybe it is just a rock and it has no heat?, no hides with a stuck shed, and her bf bought crickets for it to eat. She said it is hissing and upset. Well, yeah poor thing! :tears::weirdface:O

I am going to check out the sticky on stuck sheds because I have never had one and also print her out the caresheet.

There is always a possibility of transmitting bacteria, virus, mites, etc. Make sure you wash your hands and change your clothes after looking at your friends BP and you can keep those chances to a minimum.

And it makes me sick to think of someone feeding a BP crickets. Even if you bought the BP from one of the big chains they even know you feed mice/rats.

Why would they bring it to your house? I'd much rather give them advice from a distance.

I would keep that poor baby as far away from mine as humanly possible.

I'm new to the game and evei I say it's risky to bring a sick animal into a clean environment .. it would be better even if you wnet to her.. or again directed her to the site!

Much less stressful on the animal, that is already in poor condition, if you went to it.
