Mother Theresa

Mother Theresa is one of my Female Het Albinos :). My girlfriend named her because I have 3 Ball Pythons, 1 is quick to strike, the other one isn't but still will, but Mother Theresa won't hurt anything that isn't a rat.

Nice! I'm super new, so excuse me if this is a dumb question :) How do you know she is Het Albino? Is there any visible traits?

Nope, there are no visible "markers" for Het Albino, you basically have to trust whomever you acquired it from. I got 2 het girls from a guy who was getting into BPs but he lost interest and as a result ended up taking poor care of the snakes. He got to a point where he was feeding them 1 mouse (yes MOUSE) a week and wanted to get rid of them. He didn't know what he was talking about when it came to the genetics (He said they were 66% het because the last clutch they laid back in '06 had 6 eggs, 4 of which were albinos, he didn't realize that the "%" means "Possibility of caring the gene"). He was friends with the original owner of the girls so he got them from him real cheap cause he replaced the 2 girls with Albinos.

So right now they're het albinos, however I'm reproving them in the '08-'09 season :)

Yeah I actually hope it's genetic so that if I do get albino babies I'm hoping they'll have her blushed out head so it'll be a milky yellow :).
