    possible het clowns...
For those of you who have hatched out possible het clowns, or definite hets.... have you found similar markings to the het pieds? I'm specifically talking about the train tracks, or tail stripes that you see on a lot of hets. I had a clutch of 6 from a het clown x normal breeding, and 3 of 6 have these tail tracks.....

I just bought a clutch of 50% het clowns and I noticed that most have a very bright white around the black on the sides. they have a kind of dirty appearance to their side pattern and a few do have the "pied markers" I don't know if its coincidence or not. but if there was a way to tell I would love to know

I currently have 6 Het clowns (some proven) and not one of them has a pied marker.

However -- those "markers" tend to be a genetic phenotype -- my normals that have them pass them along to their offspring.
