    Built a rack?
I built a rack for two balls I am buying and want to have everything setup before there arrival. After I completed the rack I painted it with high gloss balck paint then I read some where about fumes possibly being harmful just curious as to your opinion . Think the high gloss is a danger ? gonna be another week before they get here probably?

Can you post the brand, name and and any other information about the paint here? It's hard to say without seeing exactly what you used.

    Hi,

Does it still give off a smell - and have you tested that with the heating on?

It looks like it's water based, if I found the right stuff. It should be okay if you can't smell anything with the heat on, but I don't know for sure.

If it's water or latex based you should be fine, but you should let it cure outside for at least three days before putting tubs in and such.

I used Rust-Oleum latex based in/outdoor paint for my rack and there was no smell after one day. If you can smell anything up close to the rack after it's dry, then the paint is problematic.
