Looking For Some Pac Man Frog Info

I've read that the females do not "chirp" or "bark" is this accurate?

I've read what they eat, but how often?

I've read that their high humidity level can lead to mold issues, how often should their substrate be changed?

How loud are their chirps and barks, if they're 2 rooms away will it wake me up?

Any tips or pointers on how to set up their tank would be appreciated.

I've had the same questions. I feed mine about every other day or every three days when I feed him something like a couple superworms. If I feed him a pinky or fuzzy mouse I wait 4 days to a week. Most of the time you can attempt feeding and he won't take it if he's not hungry and you can kind of figure out the schedule that way.

I use 30% rock (not gravel, larger rocks) and 70% eco earth and i clean it out and replace the eco earth about once a month or so. I haven't had a mold problem yet.

The females do not chirp. I haven't heard mine chirp yet, but they also won't chirp until they are older.

Coco fiber for substrate, gravel and moss can and have both caused impactions as well as deaths in pacmans. Babies should be offered food daily, and then cutting back as they age. As long as you don't saturate the substrate there should be no mold problems, and with daily spot checking the tank you can go for several months without changing the substrate.

Both male and female will chirp and grunt when aggravated or uncomfortable, but not loud enough to bother you in another room.
