Any "spider-man" out there ?
My wife and I saw this on our back porch last night and didnt know what it was, so i figured id offer it up to the wildlife experts here. Beautiful spider but i wouldnt want to get too close lol. Anyone know what this is ? We are in Central Florida

To me it looks like either Araneus diadematus, which is a european garden spider that can be found in the US

Or some type of Orb Weaver (family Araneidae) (There are tons of orbs that vary in look so I don't have time to try to find the closest one it looks like, but if you look at the image search below there are a couple that look like your spider)

I see similarities with both but I'm just doing this before school so I don't have a ton of time to look

If it is any of the spiders I think it is then there is no need to worry, it won't bother you.
