    weird mites help ?
    Ok I have no mite on any reptiles... but I keep getting mites in my feeder crickets and I have had them in my inverts ( killed a tiny tarantula) they are light cream in color and about a milimeter in size can I use pam to kill them or are they some crazy weird mite I mean I have seen the black ones and I have seen the red but not these also where to get pam that doen not charge an arm and leg to shipp ( maybe someone can bring to sac reptile show so I can buy)

    also pam ? so I can put it on my newpaper let it dry and do this once a month for snake even if they have no mites and it is ok

    Hi,

    I'm pretty certain PAM would kill the tarantulas and crickets along with the mites.

    I also did a quick search in the inverts forum for you and came up with these threads;

    Thread 1.

    Thread 2.

    Thread 3.

    You could also possibly use the sticky leaves from a sundew plant to mop them up - just be carefull about that one though as it might be too sticky and hurt the pet. I mentioned it merely because I used to use it to get aphids off houseplants. :)

    man, i bought a bag of aspen from a non-pet store and it is loaded with those little white bugs. they almost look like termites only way smaller. yeck... i'm getting rid of the stuff in case they can cause problems with anything. they die so easily though that i think just wiping down the cage with some bleach or something will erradicate them.

    yeah, ive seen these guys a ton of times in aspen bedding.

    They dont seem to harm the reptiles.... they are just not very sightly.

    quick wipedown of all the enclosure, and the reptiles * or a soak works* and tossing the bedding and getting new stuff does the trick.
