Feeding Size from all you Experts!
Here is my girl she is about 3-4 months (sorry dont have a scale yet) and 20" long i was wondering what size she should be eating?
a couple people told me pinky or fuzzys but i fed her a hopper and she gupled it down fast with no problem and then looked like she was looking for more.im just trying to figure out a good size!

Hard to tell from the pic but i would say if shes 20inches long, shes still pretty young so i would say a rat pup, a fat one haha, hope this helps

Pinkie and fuzzy mice are wayyy too small. A rat pup would due fine, or an adult mouse would work if you didn't have rats around.

    :]
Just go by the rule of thumb: use prey items about the same thickness as the thickest point on the snakes body. Give or take a little bigger or less.

Mine's about the same size and hoppers aren't doing it anymore. Adult mice are working great but I'll probably go with rat pups soon because I'd heard they may have higher nutritional values.
