I know there are a lot of us on here that are concerned about the environment. We recycle, and do what we can to help. Even in the smallest way. Every little bit helps.

One of my biggest pet peeves is Junk Mail! It kills so many trees, and creates a lot of garbage.

Well there is a website that can help, not only stop junk mail but also will plant trees!
The basic service is free! I encourage everyone here to check it out and at least consider it. The more people who stop junk mail, the better.

It is sickening. My mom gets literally piles of random junk mail weekly. When she leaves for Mexico for a month and get her mail. I separate it, junk mail, and actual mail. The junk mail accounts for 3/4 of it, and it is at least two stacks about a foot high. Its sad.

Especially now, with the internet. You can view all the sales catalogs and most advertisements online.
I also don't subscribe to the newspaper anymore. I get it online. Its cheaper, and it uses no paper!

thats cool... EVERY TUESDAY is junk mail day here, were we get nothing but junk mail, plus what we get every other day, we get alot.. i will be sure to look into this site more.:gj: thanks for posting this Kristy.
