    Ok, I have a holdback female that had her first litter of 20 the other day...she is a rex berkshire she should be het beige...she was bred to her dad a beige hooded rex( this is my super rex litter!!!:banana:) But....where are the beiges at? I thought beige was a resessive gene? I am confused now.

    Sounds like she wasn't sired by the beige rex male if she was successfully bred back to her father and threw no beiges. She would without a doubt be a carrier for the RED if she was from him since he is homozygous for the dilute.

    Are they all black?

    As far as I can see they are black. She is only in with one male though, as I only have one male.

    This is unless that beige babies are dark when they are little! Unless this is another female that had this litter, but the other female isnt nursing them...so i dunno.
