    Water question
I was wondering, what is the best water to give snakes to drink? I've been giving my guys filtered [britta filtered] tap water. Would unfiltered tap water be safe too? I know distilled is out, because they need minerals. I think. :P Our tap water is very clean, but I know for a fact that it does have fluoride in it. Please and thank you. [=

    Re: Water question
Use tap water. Just let it sit out for a day or two so the chlorine evaporates.

most people use normal tap water. I do. I just put water conditioner in mine. I am sure it isnt necessary but I do it anyways just because I am like that. Hope that helped

I just use tap water with ReptiSafe added, since I can get it cheap.

As for temperature, it should be room temp. in their dish. You'd only use really warm water when soaking a bad shed.

Odd question just popped into my mind...

I've been giving just plain tap water to mine (all except one who thinks he's a blood. Only drinks bottled, only drinks fresh.) Anyway, the others get tap but I don't let it sit out for a day first. If all that chlorine is evaporating, wouldn't it get trapped in the tub since there's a lid on it? That can't be good for them...
