How long did it take for your snake to notice/strike?

Just a normal corn. I bought him at an expo years ago as a neonate. Non sexed even. The breeder told me that the parents occasionally spit out a few that are really red.

    I got lucky. ;)

How old? Mine wouldn't eat, but then again I took him out of his habitat and put him in a tub that was probably too large for it.

Ooo... he is a PURDY boy. :D Nice high red normal, and I love the investigative look when he finally saw the food. NONE of my corns are slow at feeding time.

jorgasm: Why are you moving yours? There's no reason to move a snake to another enclosure to feed. I used to do it...but it's SO much easier and less stressful on the snake if you just leave them in their own enclosure. Pre-scent for about 30min before offering the food and you'll increase their prey response. Also, make sure you keep to a regular routine of feeding, it helps a lot to establish good strong feeding responses. :)

Yeah, I won't be moving my snakes for feeding again. I moved him because I was informed to do so by the breeder... AGAIN, conflicting information. Everyone should get their information straight. Seriously. LOL
