What does one eat

:confused::confused:I went in a pet store today and they had a garden phase tree boa {hatchling} They were feeding it crickets and said it was to small for pinkies. I don't know anything about a tree boa but I don't think this is right.

NO NO NO NO NO NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THEY NEED PINKIES!!!!!!!!!!! my babie 6 inch king snake eats pinkies. THEY NEED MEAT. sorry wee bit of a rant there =]

That's what I told them but they were listening to the so call breeder. But think he's just a snake dealer with little knowledge looking to make a quick buck.

Try this:
Print out some hard evidence from a trusted website (something encyclopedia oriented or so) Wikipedia might not be a good choice and hand it over to them. Tell them that their snake will die if they continue to try to feed crickets and that the crickets will eventually kill the snake!

ive heard it all now LOL!! My baby amazons go straight to fuzzie mice although they are small they will take much larger prey than you would think! In the wild they take nestling birds which in comparisson to the snake are huge! Hope they realise their mistake before its way to late!!
