    hoax
    field herpin
My wife called me all in a panic at my parents house (Our homes are only 4 minutes apart) that a snake was at our home and that it tried to strike her chihuahua. So I hurried home. She said it went under the wood pile. So I dug it out and it was PISSED. It was striking at EVERYTHING. I got it rounded up into a ice chest and put the lid on. I calmed down because my heart was racing from almost getting bit like 5 times. I took the lid off of the cooler to take pictures. It was curled up so I did not get great pictures at first so I got a LONG stick and moved it around to get pics of its head so i could show the world my great conquest. So long story short I got a snake and released it. I came, I saw, I conqured.

I know this is not really a site dealing with field herping but I am excited about it. It was a non venomous common texas yellow belly water snake. I had fun doing it.
