Okay I want to build a book case style rack system, how exactly would I use the flexwatt to heat it?

well you can buy back heat, or belly heat, its just a thin strip of heated tape that you plug into the wall but you also need a thermostat to controll the heat.

Well I understand that but I mean do you like take 1 long strip and run it across the back of the shelf vertically? Or maybe 2 long strips? I haven't seen rack system with flexwatt setup so I don't know exactly.

Well i use one long peice that zip zages and i put it accross the buttom of the shelf for my sub adult to adult balls. to have that hot spot. Your talking about putting it down the back i personally think its harder to get that correct temp that way, but its up to you. there are some posts on how people built there rack just look at there ideas and do what will work for you and your snakes. hope this helps

ok umm cant draw anything would know how to put it on here.
So if you have a rack its got like holders for the tubs, starting from the left side take it accross to the right then drop it down the side of the rack to the next shelf and then run it from left to right drop it down to the next shelf and run it right to left with one long piece of flexwatt. Im hopeing this makes sence to you haha.
