Fasting before eggs are laid?

4 weeks ago I place my Normal Male with my Normal Female and they locked up. The female was eating GREAT for the last 2 month. Early last week she showed signs of shedding and she just recently shed. Because she never eats for me before she sheds I didn't offer food. Usually right after she sheds she would eat good for me....This week wasn't like that. Not only did she not eat this week but she also didn't eat last week...Could this be from the LOCKUP with my male she had 4 weeks ago?

Just watch out for the ovulation and watch her closely for any other signs of being gravid.

What does ovulation look like? :weirdface

Ovulation looks like she just ate a big meal. Only lasts for a day or so. Its easy to miss.
Its not as noticeable in smaller females.
I had a ten egg clutch this year, when that girl ovulated it looked like she ate a football.
