    Female Breeding Age
Probably a dumb question, but how old is too old for a female to breed. I know they usually start in their 2nd or 3rd winter, but when are they too old?

Asking because a good friend of mine has been wanting to breed for a few years now, but didn't have the money for a morph. Now that I have my spider he is asking me everyday, but his female is 9-10yrs old.

    Thanks in advance!:gj:

    Well...

    Too old?

Too old is when she decides she can't do it anymore.

I have heard of females breeding at 20 years old!

So your friends BP too old? I don't think so.

I've heard that older females have larger clutches.

My girl Olive just bred at 7 years old, and 3kg, she gave 9 big healthy eggs. :)
