    Newb in need of help
Someone please hep me. This is my first year breeding, I have a clutch of Ball eggs that I cut on day 60, this was 5 days ago and they don't appear to want to come out.

I know they take their sweet time, but I will be going out of town in a couple days and will be gone for a total of 5 days. I am worried something may go wrong if I leave them in the eggs while I am gone. I currently have them in a Rubbermaid shoe box with a wet paper towel on the bottom. The fluid in the egg has turned a little cloudy in places and it is starting to worry me.

Would it be better to gently pull them out and put them in their own container with a wet paper towel, a small water bowel and a hide? Or should I leave them be till I get home next week?

Someone please help me, I have asked for help on a local forum but can't seem to get any help.

Thanks for the help, That is the last thing I want. I guess I will just leave them alone and hope they are out by the time I get home.

Curtis, are they moving when you touch them? Have you been misting the eggs since you cut them?

If they are moving, and you give them a good mist before you leave, they should be fine in the incubator until you get back. I would turn the incubator down to about 87 degrees if it's any warmer than that though (if there are not any other eggs cooking), so that it's not too hot in there for them. Also put a little ceramic dish of water in there for them to drink from.

Yeah, they are all still moving and I mist every day. I have taken them out of the incubator and placed the shoe box in a full size tub that is in a heated rack.

I came home to 4 out of 6 out of the egg. One appears to have died in the egg while I was gone, the other just isn't ready to come out yet. Here are some pictures for everyone to enjoy.

This one has a messed up tail, it is rolled up on itself. Doesn't look like it will straighten.

    Thanks for looking.
