    Mice bites my BP
    My bp stops eating frozen thawed mice so i decided to feed him a live one but he got bitten by the mouse. What should i do? please help!http://www.ball-pythons.net/forums/i...lies/frown.gif

    How bad is the bite? If it's a small bite just put a little antibiotic ointment like Neosporin on the wound. If it's more severe, you should probably take it to a vet.

    BTW, could you describe how your snake was bitten? How long did you leave the mouse in with the snake? Did you pre-scent before placing the mouse in the snakes cage?

    i always feed him in different box. i put my bp first, then the mouse. about 30 seconds he strikes on the body of the mouse thats why the mouse had his chance to bite back on my bp's neck. its only a small wound and doesn't look bad. thanks for your reply!
