    Right Size enclosures
    Right now i have my baby bp in a tank 30l 12d 12w..how long will i bee able to have him/her in that tank?? I was told that a BP would never need to be put in a 48 inch tank is that true..

    Ball pythons prefer tighter more secure enclosures so a 48" would bee way to big. You should be good in your tank for a while. When in glass you always want to provide at least 2 tight hides(1 on warm and 1 on cool side) for him to hide and feel secure. This is what he will do the majority of the time and is important to provide security and reduce stress.

    It's often said that babies should stay in a 10 gal and move up as they grow. You could always add stuff in the enclosure to take up space though. Everything should be fine as long as it keeps eating.

    I agree with the other posters. Beings that he's just a hatchling in a tank of that size I'd be sure not to leave too much open space.
