Please dont say Anoles anyone LOL j/k j/k
Leopards maybe?
Re: Some Lizard Questions
You could put 2 leopard geckos in a 20 gallon.Put it on its side you could get a crested gecko.Fat tail gecko pair can live in a twenty.
Re: Some Lizard Questions
Schneider's Skink!!! They are the greatest!
Otherwise, hmm... Fire skink, plated lizard, almost any Gecko... just note that any geckos living in the same tank should be FEMALE.
NO lizard should ever get ONLY crickets. Even the pure insectivores like geckos should be given a nice bug variety. :) A much better staple insect is the phoenix worm.

Is the phoenix worm easy to keep in the fridge or so? My problem is I live relatively far from petstores and they are trips enough to get mice every week, and I hate it when crickets escape and their constant noise.
Which skinks get larger? Can skinks be in groups as well as geckos?
Re: Some Lizard Questions
A great thing about those worms is that they don't need to be refrigerated and still stay good for a long time. Plenty of sites, including WormMan's and PhoenixWorm.com, sell them in varying amounts with free shipping. :)
As for the Skinks... I believe the Shneider's is larger, but more handlable from what I know. :) Skinks are beautiful and unique lizards that make great pets. Can you tell I'm biased? :P
And, like most reptiles, skinks really should be kept one per enclosure. There are a few species that can live harmoniously, but at the present late hour I can't remember which ones. :)

Thanks a bunch! I figured most shouldn't be together, but I'd thought I'd ask. 20 gallons is a lot of space. :]
I'll look into those skinks. Thanks!
Edit: Oh goodness.. The choices..
The fire skinks are so beautiful!!! But how are their temperment compared to schneiders..?

Re: Some Lizard Questions
Ok, so I'm planning on looking for a Fire Skink at Tinley..
I wanted a plated Lizard but they get a bit big for a 20 long.
If I wanted to get a male and female, would it be ok to house them together or is that bad for these skinks?
A lot of caresheets I've been looking at have been giving me mixed messages about that.
