what is this? (on my albino)
I got this male albino last year and he had this "bubble" just bellow his neck. I'm not sure what it is or if its a big enough deal to take him to the vet over but i wanted to get your opinion as to what you think it might be (breeder said he was born with it)
and if you think it might be harmful to him in the future.

Some mutations, Albinos, Caramel Albinos, etc are sometimes born with " kinks " around the neck area. If you could get a better picture to be sure. but if it was born with it, I would say its a " kink ". It's a deformation in the spine.

....not sure, could be a kink, but something a vet should def double check.

...just out of curiosity, why did you purchase him when you are concerned that something may be wrong with him?

I know its not a kink only because its just on the skin (kinda like a hard zit) and i got him because A:i had a friend who is a breeder check him out at the show when i got him and he said it was no big deal and B: for $350 i couldn't pass it up (knowing that it wasnt a life threatening problem) i guess i should just bring him to the vet and have them "pop" it or remove it somehow

Wow.... $350 is a great deal for a beautiful albino. I would definitely take him to a vet for evaluation. Even if it's not "life threatening" it may be something the vet can treat or remove surgically.

It almost looks like some type of boil to me.
I would take him to the vet for sure but all aside that's a beautiful snake.

Thanx. i will take him to a vet to see if they can remove it, out of the 3 pythons i have he is also the most docile and friendly one. I love just watching tv with him crawling over me and stuff so ive grown quite attached to him already. i want to make sure hes ok and able to make me some nice babies in the future :)
