    Does he smell CHICKEN?!?
I know this might sound OFF or FAR FETCHED but EVERYTIME I cook chicken, DAY or NIGHT my Male BP starts searching his encloser...Just like he does when I pre-scent the room for feedings. What do you think, does he smell the chicken or is something else causing him to search his encloser every time I happen to cook chicken?

When my snake room was closer to the kitchen I noticed that as well. Either they like the smell of cooking chicken or they were afraid I was burning down the house and running for their lives :rolleye2:

Have you ever heard of the trick of dipping a f/t mouse in chicken broth to get your ball python to eat?

It's a similar idea. If the smell of meat is strong enough for us to smell it, it's 10 times stronger to them. :]
I mean, can you smell a rat if your holding it 3 feet from your face? Not very well. :gj:

hehe i think its like like 100-500 times stronger

But it would make sense, chicken is the one meat that smells like itself cooking. hamburger has a totally different cooking smell

I would assume if every time you cook he does this, that you proved your own question true :D

    Yeah, about that.
But it was just an expression.
