    rat c clamps
So, i went to home depot and lowes today. I told them i needed a c clamp for attaching chicken wire together. They were completely lost and had no idea what i was talking about. I need some metal clamps to make a feeding troff for rats. anyone know what these clamps are called?

Hog rings! :D They are used for chain link fencing and interior seat covers on classic cars.

Here is a link to a place you can get them and also a special tool for crimping them.

There are also a type called J clips that are wider than the rings. I used them with 1/2 x1/2 and 1/2 x 1" hardware cloth for birdcages. Any feedstore than sells cage wire would know what they are. There is a special tool used to clamp these together that work faster but for a long time I just used pliers.
