What kind of spider is this???

I found this guy in front of my garage tonight when i got home from work. It was pretty hard to get a picture of him but here are a couple.

she looks real similar to my friend:

This one was ID'd as Neoscona oaxacensis. Yours might be another Neoscona sp., or could be an Araneus sp.

Spider ID isn't my thing exactly, but I figure she looks similar enough to mine that I thought I'd share the suggestions I got when I asked about her.

Yeah they look pretty similar.

They have a place for you to post pics and ask for ID.
I am a member, and some folks keep these spiders as pets
