TSK Axanthics, anyone still work with them?
A year or so ago, probably closer to two years, I forked over the cash for a het male TSK axanthic. He is old enough to breed now, but I basicly lost interest in the axanthic project. Probably due to the fact he was a pain in the rear feeder (and still is). I had no females to breed him too, but the 09 season, I may have up to three females to chose from, 2 normals and a het albino.
Anyway, im not quite sure who I want to pair him up with, maybe the het albino female. But I am wondering, aside from TSK, are anyone else working with this line of Axanthic? It seems the Joliff line and TSK just feel off the map and VPIs are the defacto standard now.
The thought has crossed my mind to maybe find a couple possible het females and maybe make some axanthics... or maybe just jump right off and make some possible double hets for TSK snow-balls.
Sorry, just kind of rambling right now, but if anyone has any pics of TSK axanthics, feel free to post em here :)

Hm, your right, I haven't heard too much about that line. Is it nice? (not browned out at all??)
If I was in your place I would go for some double het snows or buy a het and try to get some more axanthics.
Whatever is easier for you, I think both would be a fun project.

Graziani is one of the bigger names who use TSK

Personally I think it's a mistake to only think 'which axanthic is better'? These are different non-compatible mutations that produce a similar look through different means. Each one is going to affect the looks of a combination morph in different ways. So far the only axanthic clown is made with a tsk axanthic, the only true ghost is made with a tsk axanthic and one of the whitest of the snowballs is made with a tsk axanthic. VPI and TSK axanthics may produce somewhat similar colors as babies, but in reality they're two different pigments on the ball python palette. Why not have both? The more base morphs you have access to, the more combination possibilities are open to you.

Me too!
I personally like the TSK axanthics alot. Admittedly I know there are poor examples of all lines of axanthics just like there are poor examples of pastel lines. It's all about selective breeding :)
