How long after the snakes lock up are eggs laid?
I understand that eggs hatch around day 60 after they are laid and most people cut them around day 54 for make things easier for the snake but how long after the snakes lock up are eggs laid?

It depends on the female. She could lay them in 5-6 weeks, or 9 months later or not at all.

I was gonna say something similar. No way to tell unless you know wher in the breeding cycle your female is.

Seeing an ovulation(not copulation) is the best way to time when you are gonna see eggs.

Getting ball pythons to breed is the easy part. Getting females to ovulate and lay eggs is the hard part. Ball Pythons will breed any time of the year. I've got males that I could throw in with a female at any time of the year under any kind of condition and they'll be locked up within the hour, but if the female is not growing follicles and is not ready to lay eggs, nothing will come of it.
