Can anyone ID these mushrooms?
These cute mushrooms have been growing in this little lemon plant that my aunt sent us. My dad keeps pulling them out but they regrow every time. Anyone know what they are, and if they are bad for the plant?

I dunno but they're adorable! :D
Re: Can anyone ID these mushrooms?
They're very cute.
If they're not ON the plant, I doubt they're harming it. :]
Let me look around..
What do they look like from underneath? Color underneath the top?
Re: Can anyone ID these mushrooms?
they kinda look like psilocybe mushrooms or magic mushrooms

No way lena. Psilocybes have a much more prominently brown hood and are very smooth on top.
Re: Can anyone ID these mushrooms?
Magic mushrooms were pretty tasty when I ate them by accident ;) a few years ago.
Re: Can anyone ID these mushrooms?
I don't know what kind they are but I don't think they're psilocybe mushrooms although I have seen some of these that are mostly white. I will agree though that most have more of a brown hood, and almost all have smooth tops.

haha...they are the best kind tho ;) and I've seen plenty of psilocybe mushrooms that are white not all have brown caps :)

Re: Can anyone ID these mushrooms?
no they wont harm the plant, mushrooms will grow anywere there is alot of oranic matter in soil that is moist, the soil in that picture looks really wet, try not to water it as much and they might stop growing, there is really no way to treat the soil to stop them from growing.. and i have no clue what type they are.
Re: Can anyone ID these mushrooms?
I don't know if it's hard to tell in the pic, but they are light yellow in color throughout. These have since shriveled and are dying but I'm sure that they will grow back, they have been regrowing continually. I'm glad they aren't bad for the plant because I like them!
