Okay, I give up. What type of reptile should I get? (Has to live in 20 gal!)
For a while I have been thinking about getting another snake or lizard after I got my Ball Python and Chinese Water Dragon. Right now I have 3 extra tanks (A 20 gallon, and two 15 gallons) and I really want to get another herp. Now, no bashing, I plan to wait about a year BEFORE getting one, which is enough time to study and gain up the money for whatever animal I decide to get.

So yeah, I'm open to anything but no turtles, frogs.... baisically anything that needs a large amount of water. :D

    Leos.
    Anoles.
    Rosy Boa.
    Kenyan Sand Boa.
    Hognose?

Just some ideas to throw out. :]

Not comfortably. Chams need height and are VERY challenging to care for properly.

    I would say:
    Corn snake
    Hognose
    Rosy or sand boa
    Shneiders Skink
    Fire Skink
    Platted Lizard
    most geckos

I've been mostly thinking Corns and Leos but now that you mention Rosy Boas I think that I'm going to look WAY more into them! I loved them when I first started in snakes... THANKS! :gj: I'll also look a bit more into Skinks and Geckos now that you guys mentioned them.

    =DD You guys rock!

    You're welcome. :)

Skinks ROCK! They are the greatest lizards ever, with Beardies a close second. If we ever move into a larger place, I will be getting a Schneiders Skink at least if not my ultimate: the Blue Tongue. :)

Go corn snakes!! Rosy boas and sand boas are sweet too. But I have an albino corn and she is awesome. Although I have her in a 10 gallon because she is small. :gj::)

I have my adult corn in a 50gal, I would feel bad keeping her in anything less, but I can see how that would work for other people. I've had a rosy, hognose, and a Kenyan sand boa - those would all fit in a 20gal comfortably as an adult. The rosy was definitely my favorite of the 3, they are worth looking into!
