    Thats funny you say that, I use heat cables because of how many stories I heard about houses that have burned down due to Flexwatt.

    I used Flexwatt for my incubator but use heat cable for one of my racks. Both will do the job.

    I used heating cable in a rack once, it had too many hot spots.
    I'll stick with flexwatt. :)
