    Just a cute spider
    I looked up at the porch celling and thought I saw a cicada shell, but it turned out to be a really nice looking little spider. I got a couple pictures:

    I really liked the abdomen design on it. I haven't got the id down yet, I think its some sort of orb weaver or something, I'll look tomorrow unless someone beats me to it.

    I also found this guy, he was about 4 inches long. I was really creeped out by him though because once someone called these beetles cockroaches and now they remind of roaches and I'm scared of them.

    Very pretty little spider. The ID on it might be a little tricky, seeing how variable orb weavers can be.

    Definitely a Araneus sp., it almost looks like Araneus marmoreus. I might be wrong on that, but, just a guess.

    Regardless, that is a beautiful spider and an awesome photo! :gj:
