    Supplementing with pinkies
I was wondering about supplementing with pinkie mice for some of my breeder females? How offen, how much that type of stuff.

I do it with my breeders. Some of them love them and some won't touch them. I get 1-2 day olds and dip their butt in a little calcium. They get about 2 a month, but I'm not sure how many you can give them. I don't want my smaller girls to prolapse or anything.

When I was working with leos I would feed them to my breeder females roughly twice a month. Some more or less often. And like Jake said, some just didn't want anything to do with them.

It helped them to put back on fat reserves after laying, and really the only reason you may not want to feed them pinks too often is because of the high fat content which could lead to other problems.
