"Just because" bunny pics (duw)

Oni adores going outside. I walk him every night after I get home from work. I took these pictures tonight - they're outside my apartment. :)

He gets so excited -lol-. He follows me up and down the sidewalk and chases me all over the place. :D

AWWW!! How cute!! Thats good you take him for 'walks'. A lot of people don't, and I feel bad for the little bunnys, all cooped up :( And what kind of rabbit is he? I love the 'siamese' markings :) and also, great pictures!

He's a Himalayan rabbit. :D

And a quick question...I haven't ever messed with bunnies before, but I take it he won't just run off to go investigate some where? I guess I would be scared that he would run off if he got too excited and I wouldn't be able to find him...

What great photos!! It looks so lovely there! I love how you can let him out without a harness and let it run around like that. Im sure Rain would LOVE that! Im so scared shes going to run away and get hit or something. How do you catch him? Hes beautiful BTW. i love those himi markings!

This particular rabbit doesn't run away. I don't know why, but he doesn't. We started by bringing him outside in a playpen (or exercise pen). He would just sit there. So one day I got brave and opened the pen and he hopped out and looked around, and the rest is history.

As to how do I catch him - I call him! I just make a kissy noise and say, "Oni! C'mere Oni!" and he hops over to me and we go inside. I'm not even kidding. :D

Thats so awesome!! Rain comes when we call her too but i havnt been as brave to let her outside off leash. I doubt she would run away but it just isnt a risk ive taken. We do have a HUGE tennis courts at our condo we could test in but i would imagine it would be hot during the day, anyway enough rambling... great photos!! Hes adorable
