Vampire Hunter D

Has anyone else read any of these books?

I was a fan of the two anime movies that were out years ago but recently starting reading the books.

I got into the series this summer and I've already gobbled up 9 of them. I think they're great, just curious to see if anyone else was into them.

Lord have mercy on my soul... I'm addicted to manga and anime. Havent read it, but want too. Animals take most of my money nowadays.

Book 1 is one of the best ones so you should definitely pick up the first one Connie!

Have you seen the Vampire Hunter D movies?

The books also started coming out in the Manga version this past year. Manga is cool but I like reading a lot better.

Vampire Hunter D has been around for a long time my friend, but I haven't picked it up... yet.

I see it on the shelf everytime we go to the bookstore, and everytime I tell myself I have other books I want to read first. :rolleyes:

I know the Japanese versions were around for a while but I'm pretty sure the English Manga versions only started coming out Nov of 07. Good stuff regardless, my girlfriend is a book junky so there is always something on the shelf I haven't read.

I love the movies, but have never read the books. The movies rock! I want them to come out on Blu Ray.

The movies were great and all but the books are fantastic. I'm always in favor of the book version over the movie version though when it comes to anything. I like making my own movies in my head :)
