Breeding Plans

This season will be my first breeding ball pythons. I have a good sized female and three possible males. I also have a smaller female that I'm going to try and see if she gets up to weight but if she doesn't, then thats fine too.

Here is the female I plan to breed. 1700+g (In Shed)

I have three males that could I could breed to the larger female, Akina. All are '07s.

Here is Xefaud, 100% het. pied male. 456g.

Here is Auxy, spider male. 343g. (currently refusing meals)

Other than Auxy, I'm pretty sure I can get the males up to weight by breeding time. The question is, who do I breed to Akina. Breeding Xefaud would give me 50% poss. het. pied normals. Breeding Thriller would give me pastels and normals, and breeding Auxy would give me spiders and normals. Who would you breed to Akina?

Umm.....spiders!!:D pastels would be nice with her too.

I'll try and get a picture of Akina when she sheds. She actually has a lot of yellow on her sides. I'm starting to think Pastels.

I will only breed the spider if he starts eating. He has been refusing meals since May, so I need him to get to eat before I will truly consider him for breeding.

I would breed the two codoms, you might get both in one clutch, also if one isnt a good breeder the odds are the other will get the job done;)

Eitherway you should know who the dad is when they pip.

Thats a great idea. Possibly get a little of both at best. If Auxy starts eating, then both he and Thriller will breed Akina. How would you rotate them, then?

Breed both the pastel and spider, when you sell the babies you can buy 100% het pied females.
