aweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! Can I have a lion? Ok I settle for a puppy...
Re: Tissue Warning - Christian the Lion
Love the lion, to me there number 1 in the animal kingdom, but wasnt the whole purpose to get the lion back to being wild. Kind of defeats the purpose to go back and do that. Oneday one of these people that think these cats are toys are going to pay a big price. Dont get me wrong I think its great to help the lion get back to where it belongs, but they should have let nature take its course, and observe the lion from a distance as to not interfear with its progress.:taz:
Re: Tissue Warning - Christian the Lion
They weren't there to interfere - but to observe him from a distance - he recognized them and ran to them.

Well seeing that this was in the early 70's, I'm sure it's no worries now!
Re: Tissue Warning - Christian the Lion
Very touching video I saw that a week ago. :tears:
Re: Tissue Warning - Christian the Lion
That was cool. I think it still took a lot of guts to stand there and HOPE this lion remembered you. It is kinda sad he was never seen again. But I liked how they returned him to the wild where he belonged.
