    dankmans feed schedual
Hey, dankman seems do be doing better from that last post I had about him acting sluggish but I have a question about feeding. Hes getting alot bigger. Hes about 2 and a half feet long and around 6 inches around. I plan on bumping up his feeding from one mouse to two mice (even though I have fed him 2 before when he hasent ate for awhile) but Should I do 2 mice a week for ex. 1 mouse on saterday and 1 on wednesday or 2 mice at the same time every 2 weeks?

One to two mice a week should be fine.

If you're going to feed multiples (I do every week), you still want to feed in one sitting, once a week. The way to do it is to put the first mouse in, keeping the second close by. Watch your bp as it eats the first mouse. When your bp is finished swallowing the first prey item, he/she will generally start tongue flicking again. At that point, drop in the second mouse and continue supervising. In my experience, the bp takes less time to hit the second mouse than the first.

Wait 5-7 days and repeat... :gj:

Great, So I guess I will start feeding him multiples regularly ( two mice in one sitting) which is what I have always done when feeding him two mice in one week. And to "ink" I have noticed that exact same thing, my bp always goes for the second mouse right away. Another thing I have noticed is that He doesn't liked to be closely watched when feeding. Don't get me wrong. I'm DEFINATLY in the room and keeping an eye on him when he feeds (because I feed live mice) but usually when I'm not looking directly at him is when he goes for it. Also when hes actually eating the mouse he gets kind of nervous if I'm watching him to closely.
