    Skin Question
So I've been noticing this little piece of wrinkled skin under my Hog Island boas neck.. Everything I could find online said it was because the snake was going into shed or it was dehydrated (one person said parasite, but I only saw that once). She has had this for a couple weeks now, I thought maybe it had something to do with a shed but she hasn't had one and it hasn't left so now I'm getting worried! I don't think she is dehydrated, she always has access to water and the humidity is usually where it is supposed to be at. I'm going to try soaking her a little later to see if that does anything, I don't know what else to do about it.

Let me know if you have any ideas on why it is there - its just that one little sliver, and I've seen one on the other side that doesn't seem to be there anymore.

My burm sometimes gets that after he eats a big meal, which I figure is just stretched skin...then I also see it in all the snakes before they go into shed...

Thanks, that would make sense.. I just started feeding her larger f/t rats and I never noticed the skin before that, they seem pretty huge when she eats them but then they barely make a lump in her belly when she is done.
