is it ok to keep using papertowels?

my snake recently had mites so i treated her and everything that went in to her tank. the paper towels are easier for me but i am not sure if it is ok to use that instead of the aspen i was using.

its a cheaper alternative.. its fine.. you dont have to use aspen and what not.. if you have your temps and humidity figured out and stable.. your good!

my temps are 85 on cool side and 90-91 on warm side. humidity is always between 55-60%.

I use papertowels as substrate all the time. No problems!! :D

I've always used paper towels! Especially for my larger tanks..
My tubs I sprinkle aspen.. it helps make the balls feel more secure and holds humidity a bit better.

You think paper towels are cheap and easy??? Now take the final step and try news paper. It lays down and stays in place better then paper towels.... and if you already have a subscription to the local paper, or know someone that does, it is FREE!!!!!

We have been using paper towels for our little squirts, and it does work very well. :) Easy clean up. We use cypress for everyone else.

Except when one of the big females dumps her water dish, splashs about on an advertisement and accidentally creates the newest morph....the green ink belly BP. :rolleyes:

To the OP, paper towels are fine. They work for the snake, they work for you so hey if it works...don't fix it. :)
