Hides

My bp has grew out her hides i am wondering what to do also she needs a new tub but i dont know what size to get her shes in a 31qt right now. This is her weight taken today 512g i dont know if that helps but thats her weight.

If your bp is 512 grams then a medium hide should be fine. Also a 31 qt is plenty big enough for her. Also take a look at the sticky on bp husbandry if you havent already. It will help you alot.

I agree that a 500g snake is fine in a 31qt tub; heck, I have 900g-1000g snakes in 31qt tubs and they are thriving! :)

I use the Reptile Basics hides for all of my snakes. They fit into the tubs and cages perfectly and they fit the snakes very well too! I do have some small Zilla hides that one of my little girls use and another female uses them as she prefers to wear a hat rather than be in a hide!!! :D
