What would you rather have? Albino or Axanthic?

If given the oppurtunity which would you rather own?

High contrast Albino or a VPI Axanthic?

I cant make my mind up, so I figured id see what everyone else thinks...

Just for sheer wow value from snake people and non-snake people alike, I voted albino. Axanthics brown with age, and to most non snake people look like normals. Albinos always get good reviews!:gj:

Agreed!

I have a mini obsession with Albino animals in general. Albino BP's are gorgeous and I hope some day I can afford one!

I would prefer a nice, clean VPI axanthic. Most of them do tend to brown out, but just like everything else selective breeding plays a big part in that. I've seen some really nice adults that held their 'lack' of color pretty well. Also, most albinos will lose their 'high contrast' with age -- the yellow and white kind of blurs together from what I've seen.

Axanthic's have never done it for me...

I like axanthics for the combos, and albinos for the "stand alone" quality.

I think what axanthics do to other morphs is stellar.

PS: The low contrast albinos are my favs, unless you are talking something amazingly high contrast such as a cinnie albino.

I'd have to say Axanthic.

I've never been fond of Albino anything.
