No movement in last 3 spiders...
Well it seems this morning I could possibly have some serious devastating problems with my final three eggs with contained ALL spiders. :(

The first hatchling piped Saturday July 12th, and I cut the rest of the eggs, two normals came out of their eggs a few days later, then Wednesday morning the first spider and the final normal came out.

The other three spiders hadn't even poked their heads out to take their first breath and I could see they heads were still under all the goo.

Being curious I poked at the three daily to make sure they still moved. All did.....untill this morning. :(

I even used a large bobby pin, and was able to move them around still in the eggs but getting no movement from them in return.

They all appear to have died. :(

I plan on removing them from the eggs tonight (unless advised otherwise), and will know for sure after that.

Any ideas on what is going on? Did they drown?

I would also like to thank Jon Courtney (coldbloodaddict) for taking my frantic call yesterday.

PS, the other 4 are doing great, haven't sexed them yet and still havent taken real pics besides on my cellie this morning.

Oh my God Susan. I was thinking about you yesterday wondering how those spiders turned out. I am so sorry to hear of this happening. I can say that I had one egg that when I cut it I didn't break the "sac" that they are in and it ended up drying out and getting pretty hard that I had to cut to get it out.

Please let us know what you find out. Sorry for your loss

you told me you incubated at a slightly lower temp right?

I wonder would that have made a difference?

88 Degress. With could of made it take them longer to hatch. Shouldn't be the case here since half has come out of the eggs already..and I didnt cut b.c the first pipe.

Lower temps do require longer incubation times. If you cut five days ago that would have only been 54 days. What temp did you incubate at?

88...hmmm...I wouldn't think that would have made a big difference. Were the temps in your incubator consistent? I wonder if maybe some eggs were warmer than others?

    Sorry to hear about this...:(
