So let me preface this by saying that, for no discernible reason, I have lost 2 out of 3 clutches in the last 30 days. There was no molding, no rotting, for whatever reason both clutches were developing nicely and then the growing kids just stopped. When I cut into them after 3 days of no wiggling, all were already dead. Not fun... The only thing they had in common was 1st year mothers and weak venation. Oh well, it happens and hopefully my luck turns soon.
On the other hand, the 3rd clutch (which has been in the 'bator longest and is from a 3rd year momma) has been doing fine at the same temps and humidity. Alas, my paranoia got the better of me and I jumped the gun on 2 of the eggs and cut them at day 48.5. I had to know they were developed normally and doing fine. I am happy to report............. They are. Hopefully will have some cute heads to show soon.:banana:
Hope everyone else is having a better season!
