Disinfectant

I was just wondering if anyone out there has any ideas as far as home type remedies for disinfectant/deodorant for a ball pytohn cage ?? I really feel like the pet store is trying to "bend me over a barrel" for 5.99 for a four oz bottle......

You can buy a big bottle of concentrated 'Dawn' from Walmart for $4.
You don't need to disinfect anything unless you have a sick snake.

I bought the 4 gallon bottle of Chlorhexadine and it lasts for quite some time. Mix small batches. Or choose one of the smaller quantities.

I buy a small bottle of Chlorhexadine at wall mart for around 8 bucks then i mix it with water.. goes a long way.

I use this http://www.agri-med.com/site/255063/product/CHLRHN2S16 for daily cleaning, once a month I also bleach everything with a 10% bleach solution.

Even cheaper where I buy it ;)

I use rubbing alcohol in a spray bottle, you have to give it 15-20 mins to fumigate. Alcohol kills everything and once dry leaves no residue... A bottle of rubbing alcohol costs about $1...
